Adorable Owl Customer Thank You December 2022 Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie and Bruno Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Each month I make and send Customer Thank You Cards for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a Thank You card using four upcoming items – the Sale-A-Bration Adorable Owls stamp set, the Sale-A-Bration Dandy Designs 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog Seaside Bay stamp set & Iridescent Pastel Gems.

Start with a Soft Succulent cardstock card base. Cut a Crumb Cake cardstock panel and a Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper panel. Dry emboss the Crumb Cake cardstock panel with the Timber 3D embossing folder. Glue the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper panel layered on the embossed Crumb Cake cardstock panel. Wrap the panels across the Designer Series Paper & cardstock transition with Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched banner with the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Seaside Bay stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the left side of the stitched banner. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (only on each end) to attach the stamped stitched banner slightly to the left side of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Stamp the owl from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the owl with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the owl’s eyes. Fussy cut out the owl with paper snips. Use glue dots and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the owl to the right side of the sentiment overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add Iridescent Pastels Gems to the card front and stitched sentiment banner for extra sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Early Espresso ink and added a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
