Candy Cane Heart & Tags

Dressing up your candy canes with tags made with the Candy Canes dies is a great way to add a festive flare to your holiday gift giving. I created this tag from the Real Red Glimmer paper, a Granny Apple Green cardstock leaf die cut with the Decorated Pine Dies, and the sentiment from the Yeti to Party stamp set. And if you want to get a little bit more fancy with glue dots and some bakers twine & ribbon you can create a heart by combining two candy canes. Real Red & White 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper

The Real Red Glimmer paper make a sparkly tag for your candy canes.

I stamped the seal with the Basic Gray ink and created the matching bow tie with the Snowman dies and sniped the bow smaller with paper snips. I used Lined Thread and Sweet Sorbet Woven Metallic ribbon to tie the candy cane heart.

For these candy canes I paired a retired Blushing Bride Glimmer paper I had in my stash with a tag created with the super cute Seal of Approval stamp set, the Stylish Shapes dies, and the sentiment from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set.

I was able to die cut three tags at a time because I used the thinner Designer Series Paper.

I made these candy cane tags with the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper, the Garden Green cardstock leaf die cut with the Candy Canes dies, and sentiment from the Yeti to Party stamp set.

I added 1/2″ x 4″ strips of Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper with glue to decorate the Peekaboo Treat Bag.

I created this cute treat bag with the Peekaboo Treat Bags, the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper, Granny Apple Green cardstock leaf sprigs die cut with the Decorated Pine dies, and embossed Polished Pink candy canes.

I made a template (by die cutting out a candy cane from a thick Basic White cardstock panel) on my Stamparatus to stamp on a die cut Basic White cardstock candy cane with Polished Pink ink first and then stamp with Versamark ink, then add the Clear embossing powder, and heat with the Heat Tool.
