Zoo Crew DSP Hedgehog Card

I love all the adorable critters featured in the fabulous Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper that is included in the Designer Series Paper 15% off Sale that ends today (June 30th). I used the Online Exclusive 2″ Circle Punch to punch out the super cute painting hedgehog from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper to create my card. Start with a Petal Pink cardstock card base. Cut a Basic White cardstock panel and dry emboss the panel with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. Cut a Petal Pink hearts Subtles Designer Series Paper strip, two Calypso Coral cardstock strips, and Petal Pink cardstock strips. Glue the Designer Series Paper strip and cardstock strips to the card front. Use a hole punch to create small notches in the sides of the panel overlapping the center of the Designer Series Paper strip. Wrap the panel, within the notches, with Linen Thread and tie with a bow on the left side. Glue the built panel to the card base.

Use the 2″ Circle Punch to punch out the painting hedgehog circle from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. Punch a Petal Pink cardstock circle with the 2″ Circle Punch and a Vellum cardstock circle with the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch. Color the hedgehog Designer Series Paper circle with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Glue the colored Designer Series Paper circle to the Petal Pink cardstock circle for stability and then glue the circles to the Vellum cardstock circle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the circles to the right side of the card front overlapping the Designer Series Paper & cardstock strips.

Stamp the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White cardstock. Use paper snips to cut out the sentiment and flag one end. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment banner to the left of & tucked under the circles above the bow on the card front. Add Iridescent Pastel Gems to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Subtles Designer Series Paper and stamp the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Vellum cs circle – punched with the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch.
Basic White cs sentiment banner – (3/8″ x 1 3/4″) fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
