Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie and Bruno Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!
Each month I make and send Customer cards as a Thank You for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a lovely card using the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog Heartfelt Hexagon bundle and the Sale-A-Bration Sunny Days Designer Series Paper & Heartfelt Hellos stamp set (each are available to choose for free with qualifying Level 1 orders ($50 before ship & tax each or $100 for both).
Start with a Daffodil Delight cardstock card base. Cut a Shaded Spruce cardstock panel and the large & small Sunny Days Designer Series Paper panels. Glue the small Designer Series Paper to the larger Designer Series Paper panel. Wrap the center of the Designer Series Paper panels with Linen Thread and tie a bow on the left side of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the Shaded Spruce cardstock panel and the glue the panels to the card base.
Stamp the outline stamp from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on Basic White cardstock. Stamp the sentiment from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink in the center of the stamped outline. Punch out the outlined sentiment with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the punched sentiment to the card front slightly to the right overlapping the wrapped ribbon.
Stamp the butterfly from the Planted Paradise stamp set to create three butterflies – first by stamping the smooth side of the stamp in 2nd generation (stamped off) Daffodil Delight ink on Basic White cardstock and then stamp over the first image with the dotted side of the stamp in Daffodil Delight ink. Fussy cut out the butterflies and use Stampin’ Dimensionals and a glue dot to add the butterflies to the card front & sentiment label. Add Champagne Adhesive- Backed Sparkle gems to the card front and add Wink of Stella to the butterflies for sparkle.
Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper and stamp the butterfly from the Planted Paradise stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
I hope you enjoyed my Sunny Days DSP January 2024 Customer Blog Hop card.
