For this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge I used the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper and the gorgeous Sale-A-Bration Most Adorned Specialty Designer Series Paper for all the hearts in these pattern paper packs. I also used the adorable bear from the Online Exclusive Fluffiest Friends stamp set and the sentiments from the Bee My Valentine stamp set to create my Valentine card.
Start with a Daffodil Delight cardstock card base. Cut a Most Adorned Specialty Designer Series Paper panel and a Bee Mine Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the Most Adorned Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card base. Stamp the bear from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut out the bear with a circle from the Everyday Details dies. Stamp the bees from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Memento Black ink around the bear on the Basic White cardstock circle. Color the bear and bees with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Glue the colored die cut circle to the center of the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper panel.
Die cut a Most Adorned Specialty Designer Series Paper small circle with the Everyday Details dies. Glue the small die cut circle to the bottom left of the Basic White cardstock circle slightly overlapping the bear image. Wrap the built Bee Mine Designer Series Paper panel overlapping the bottom of the Basic White cardstock circle and across the center of the Most Adorned Specialty Designer Series Paper small circle twice with black Baker’s Twine and then tie it in a small bow. Glue the wrapped panel to the card front.
Fussy cut out jars from the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the jars to the card front on the small circle Most Adorned Specialty Designer Series Paper overlapping the wrapped black Baker’s Twine. Add Wink of Stella to the heart on the jar for sparkle. Stamp the sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Use paper snips to fussy cut out, separate the sentiment into two pieces, and then flag one end of the second piece. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment under the wrapped twine to the right of the fussy cut jars. Add Champagne Adhesive-Backed Sparkled Gems to the card front for extra sparkle.
Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Memento Black ink on the inside panel. Add a strip of Most Adorned Specialty Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card. Add three fussy cut Bee Mine Designer Series Paper jars with glue over the right side of the Designer Series Paper strip on the inside panel. Stamp the bees from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Memento Black ink above the jars and color them with the Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the bees and the heart on the jar for sparkle.
