Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge I created a fun Halloween card with branches from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set, bats & sentiment from the Scary Cute bundle, and fussy cut a pumpkin & ghost from the Host Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper.

Start with a Paper Pumpkin cardstock card base. Cut a Basic Black cardstock panel and a Basic White cardstock panel. Stamp the branch wreath from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock.

Fussy cut the wreath so that it is in three pieces. Stamp the sentiment from the Scary Cute stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock and punch it out with the Label Me Fancy punch. Use paper snips to trim the sentiment label. Punch a Basic Black cardstock sentiment layer with the Label Me Fancy punch. Die cut Basic Black cardstock bats with the Scary Silhouettes dies. Fussy cut out a pumpkin and a ghost from the Host Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper. Color the pumpkin with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the ghost.

Add the sentiment label to the Basic Black cardstock label with black Stampin’ Dimensionals and then add the labels to the lower left of the card front with more black Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use glue dots to tuck the branches into the sides of the sentiment labels. Use black Stampin’ Dimensionals to tuck the pumpkin and ghost to the sides of the sentiment labels overlapping the branches. Use glue to add the bats to the card front around the sentiment labels. Then flick Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black ink splatter onto the card using Stampin’ Blends. Add Adhesive – Backed Seasonal Sequins around the sentiment labels.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black ink splatter onto the inside panel with Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the sentiment from the Scary Cute stamp set in Memento Black ink and add a colored strip of the Host Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
