Mixed Florals Bundle HMSC Swap Card

I belong to a local group of crafters (Huachuca Mountain Stamp Club) and each quarter they have a themed SWAP. This quarter’s theme is ‘Springtime’ and I created a lovely card using the Mixed Florals bundle, the Secret Garden Designer Series Paper, and the hexagon shape from the Meant To Bee dies.

Start with a Pretty In Pink cardstock card base. Cut a Basic White cardstock panel and a Secret Garden Designer Series Paper panel. I dry embossed the Basic White cardstock panel with the (retired) Subtle 3D embossing folder. Glue the embossed panel and Designer Series Paper panel to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock hexagon and a Pretty In Pink cardstock hexagon frame with the Meant To Bee dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cardstock hexagon. Dry emboss the stamped hexagon with the (retired) Subtle 3D embossing folder. Use glue to add the Pretty In Pink cardstock hexagon frame to the top of the card front slightly to the left. Use glue to add the stamped and embossed hexagon into the frame.

Stamp the daisies from the Mixed Florals stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the image with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Die cut the colored daisies with the Mixed Florals dies. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the die cut flowers to the card front overlapping the hexagons. Add Pretty In Pink 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the floral sprig from the Mixed Florals stamp set in Memento Black ink down the left side of the inside panel. Color the flowers with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the inside panel and the back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Memorable Blooms stamp set in Memento Black ink above the Designer Series Paper strip on the right side. Glue the built inside panel into the card.
