For this week’s Global Design Project Color Challenge I again reached for the Mixed Florals bundle. This time I used the lovely tulips image and used the extra die cut grass/leaves die to layer behind the flowers. I layered the flowers and grass/leaves on a large stitched arch from the Everyday Arches dies on an Daffodil Delight cardstock panel embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder to create my card. I added the simple sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set.

MIXED FLORALS BUNDLE

EVERYDAY ARCHES DIES
$29.00

DISTRESSED TILE 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER
$10.00

Start with a Granny Apple Green cardstock card base. Cut a Daffodil Delight cardstock panel, dry emboss it with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder, and then glue it to the card base. Die cut a large Basic White cardstock stitched arch with the Everyday Arches dies. Glue the die cut stitched arch in the center of the card front.

Stamp the tulips image from the Mixed Florals stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the image with Stampin’ Blends. Die cut out the tulips with the Mixed Florals dies. Die cut a Garden Green cardstock grass/leaves sprig with the Mixed Florals dies. Use paper snips to gently separate the die cut grass/ leaves and used Stampin’ Seal on the back of the tulips to add the die cuts behind the tulips. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the built tulip image to the stitched arch on the card front. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink on the sentiment panel. Cut a Daffodil Delight cardstock sentiment panel layer. Glue the stamped sentiment panel to the Daffodil Delight cardstock sentiment panel layer. Use a glue dot and a Stampin’ Dimensional to add the sentiment panels to the card front off the left side of the flowers. Add Daffodil Delight Opal Rounds to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the small flower sprig from the Mixed Florals stamp set in Memento Black ink down the left side edge of the inside panel. Add an embossed strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock to the bottom of the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Memorable Blooms stamp set in Memento Black ink on the bottom right side of the inside panel above the embossed strip. Glue the built inside panel into the card.
