Global Design Project 228 – CASE the Designer with the Parisian Blossoms Suite

This week’s Global Design Project is to CASE the Designer and we’re CASEing a lovely card by Charlet Mallet. I’m using elements of the Parisian Blossoms Suite to make my card.

CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit

Start with a Pool Party cs card base. Cut a Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP panel.

Die cut out the Eiffel Tower from Petal Pink cs with the Parisian Dies. Die cut out an Eiffel Tower outline and a swirl from Champagne Foil sheets with the Parisian Dies. Use the Fine Tipped glue to add the Petal Pink cs Eiffel Tower over the Champagne Foil Eiffel Tower and then glue it to the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP panel.

Add the Champagne Foil swirl to the card front on the right side of the Eiffel Tower with Fine Tipped glue. Cut pieces of Petal Pink Metallic Edged ribbon and Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace trim and wrap them around the DSP panel & across the Eiffel Towers and secure the ends with glue dots on the back of the DSP panel. Glue the wrapped DSP panel to the card base.

Die cut out large flowers from the Petal Pink Perennial Essence Vellum and smaller flowers from Vellum cs with the Cherry Blossoms Dies. Use the Fine Tipped glue to add the smaller Vellum flowers to the Petal Pink Vellum larger flowers.

Use your Bone Folder to gently curl the flower petals. Add Wink of Stella to the Vellum cs flowers for sparkle. Attach the flowers to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots. Add Champagne rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.

Cut the Whisper White cs sentiment banner and stamp the sentiment from the Special Someone stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink towards the end of the banner. Use your Paper Snips to flag the front end of the banner. Attach the stamped sentiment banner on the right side of the card front below the ribbon. Add Wink of Stella across the whole of the sentiment banner for sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on the inside and then added strips of Specialty DSP to the inside & back of the card to pull the theme through.
