Winter Owls September 2023 Customer Thank You Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie and Bruno Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Each month I make and send Customer Thank You Cards for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a hello card using the beautiful upcoming September-December 2023 Mini Catalog Winter Owls bundle and the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper to send out as a Thank You. The owl images look lovely winging over the gorgeous watercolor trees of the Designer Series Paper.

Start with a Misty Moonlight cardstock card base. Cut a Smoky Slate cardstock panel and a Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper panel and glue them to the card base.

Die cut a Vellum cardstock deckled circle and a Basic White cardstock deckled circle with the Deckled Circles dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on the bottom of the Basic White cardstock deckled circle. Use Stampin’ Seal to add the stamped Basic White cardstock to the Vellum cardstock deckled circle. Cut a small piece of the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon and use Tear & Tape to attach the ribbon to the back of the deckled circles add then add Stampin’ Seal to the deckled circles to add it to the bottom right of the card front.

Stamp the flying owl from the Winter Owls stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White cardstock. Use a Blender Pen to pull the Misty Moonlight ink to color the owl and add color with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend. Add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Die cut out the owl with the Winter Owls dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the owl to the card front and deckled circles. Add Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins for extra sparkle.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper and stamp the owl from Winter Owls stamp set & the sentiment from the Color & Contour stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on the inside panel. Glue the stamped inside panel into the card.

I also added a strip of Designer Series Paper and stamp the owl from Winter Owls stamp set & the sentiment from the Color & Contour stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on the back of the card to pull the theme through.

Winter Meadow cs panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Vellum cs circle – (2 3/8″) die cut with the Deckled Circles dies.
Basic White cs circle – (2 1/8″) die cut with the Deckled Circles dies.
Basic White cs owl – die cut with the Winter Owls dies.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
