The Stampin’ Blends & Alcohol technique is so fun and addictive! Watch my Facebook Live here or on my YouTube channel below to see how I made these lovely Stampin’ Blends Vellum cs background panels. I backed each panel on a piece of cardstock using glue and then mounted it to the card fronts. I found that if I just smoothed the glue out over the panel with my finger you wouldn’t see the adhesive. I used Tear & Tape on one piece and then needed to create a frame to hide the adhesive as you could see it through the color.

Start with a Magenta Madness cs card base. Create a Vellum cs background panel using the Stampin’ Blends & Alcohol technique.
I mounted this piece of Vellum cs on Basic Black cs with Tear & Tape but the adhesive was visible so I die cut a Basic Black cs frame with the Stitched Rectangle dies and dry embossed the frame with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder before using glue to add it to the Vellum cs panel.
Die cut Basic Black sprigs & flowers with the Meadow Dies. Use glue to add them to the card front – gently sliding them under the bottom left inside edge of of the frame so that they overlap the frame and the Vellum cs panel.
Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Memento Black ink, added die cut sprig & butterfly, and added a strip of the created Vellum cs to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
Card Measurements:
Vellum cs background panel created with Stampin’ Blends, 99% alcohol. & Wink of Stella – 3/4″ x 4 3/4 (glued to the same size Basic Black cs panel) plus two 1/2″ x 5 1/8″ strips.
Magenta Madness cs card base – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.
Embossed Basic Black cs frame – die cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies.
Basic Black cs flowers & butterflies – die cut with the Meadow dies.
Basic White cs inside panel – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.

I made three more cards with a few of the other Stampin’ Blends & Alcohol technique Vellum cs panels. I backed them all with Basic White cs before cutting them down to add them to the card fronts.
For this card I first embossed the Stampin’ Blends & Alcohol technique Vellum cs panel with the Magnolia 3D embossing folder first. I then colored the flowers from the back with Stampin’ Blends and added Wink of Stella to the flower centers on the front of the Vellum cs panel then backed it with a Basic White cs panel. I used a Calypso Coral cs card base and punched a scalloped oval sentiment layer with the Double Oval punch. Stamped the sentiment & sprig from the Shaded Summer stamp set in Calypso Coral ink & Daffodil Delight ink on a Basic White cs oval punched with the Double Oval punch. I add a piece of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace trim under the sentiment layers and pearls to the sentiment oval.
I dry embossed this Vellum cs panel with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder before gluing it to a Basic White cs panel. Wrap the panel with a Polished Pink Open Weave ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends. Tie a small bow and use glue dots to attach it to the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the wrapped panel to a Magenta Madness cs card base. I didn’t add a sentiment but could easily add one later.
Start with a Shaded Spruce cs card base and dry emboss the front with the Tasteful Textures 3D embossing folder. I cut down the Vellum cs back with a Basic White cs panel (3 7/8″ x 3 1/4″) and mounted it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die cut Shaded Spruce cs leaves and Daffodil Delight flower with the Iconic dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a Basic White cs sentiment panel. Add the sentiment panel and die cut leaves & flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals & glue dots to the bottom of the card front overlapping the Vellum cs panel. Add Glided Gems to the flower centers.
