Rings of Love DSP Wreath Christmas Card

I love the fabulous Sale-A-Bration Rings of Love Designer Series Paper (DSP). I have been fussy cutting the images from the sheet with mushrooms, holly, leaves, and butterflies. I’ve used the leaf sprigs on several cards but still have a pile of mushrooms and holly. For this card I used a stitched circle and holy to build a Christmas wreath and included the fox from the Sale-A-Bration Stylish Sketches stamp set.

Start with an Evening Evergreen cardstock (cs) card base. Cut a Poppy Parade cs panel and a Lights Aglow Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel. Glue the Poppy Parade cs panel to the card base. Wrap the DSP panel with Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends on the back of the panel. Glue the wrapped panel to the card front.

Die cut a Basic White cs stitched circle with the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in Memento Black ink at the top center of the stitched circle. Stamp the fox from the Stylish Sketches stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs. Color the fox with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the fox’s eye for sparkle. Fussy cut out the image with paper snips. Glue the fussy cut fox to the stitched circle so the fox’s upper body was in the center of the stitched circle below the sentiment. Use paper snips to cut off the excess of the fox so it was flush with the edge of the stitched circle.

Fussy cut holly sprigs from the Rings of Love DSP. Use glue to add them around the stitched circle creating a wreath around the fox. Add rhinestones to the wreath and Wink of Stella to the holly berries for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stitched circle wreath slightly on the right side of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Tie a bow with the Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the card front to the left of the wreath overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set in Memento Black ink, and add a strip of DSP & fussy cut holly sprig to the inside & back of the card to pull the theme through.
