Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop February 2020 – Birthday Bonanza Buddies Bundle Card

Hi! Welcome to Christy’s Stamping Spot. I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Arizona, USA. Today, I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.

I’m loving the super cute Bonanza Buddies Bundle and this adorable kola. I created this card using the Birthday Bonanza DSP, punching the sentiment layers with 3 different punches and dry embossing the layers.

Start with a Bermuda Bay cs card base. Cut the Smoky Slate cs panel and Birthday Bonanza DSP panel. Dry emboss the Smoky Slate cs panel with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and glue it to the card base.

Cut the Bermuda Bay cs panel, dry emboss it with the Absolutely Argyle 3D embossing folder and glue it to the DSP panel. Punch a Daffodil Delight cs sentiment label with the Label Me Lovely Punch and dry emboss it with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Punch a Smoky Slate cs sentiment label with the Pretty Label punch and dry emboss it with the Absolutely Argyle 3D embossing folder.

Stamp the sentiment from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White cs. Punch out the sentiment with the Label Me Fancy Punch. Glue the punched Daffodil Delight cs label to the left side of the embossed Bermuda Bay cs panel. Wrap the DSP/embossed Bermuda Bay cs/Daffodil Delight cs label with Daffodil Delight ruched ribbon across the Daffodil Delight cs label and tie a bow on the right side of the panels. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the the wrapped DSP panel to the card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the stamped Whisper White cs label to the Smoky Slate cs label, and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the labels to the Daffodil Delight cs label.

Stamp the kola from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on Whisper White cs. Stamp the nose/eyes in Basic Gray ink on the kola image. Add Wink of Stella to the kola for sparkle. Stamp the hat from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White cs. Stamp the hat puff in Daffodil Delight ink on Whisper White cs. Use the Bonanza Dies to die cut out the kola, hat, and hat puff.

Use glue dots to add the hat and hat puff to the kola. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to add the kola to the card front so it overlaps the stamped Whisper White cs label. Use the dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend to color rhinestones and add them to the card front. Add Wink of Stella to the hat puff for sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink and a strip of Birthday Bonanza DSP on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
