Inspirations In Ink: Magical Meadow Bundle Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy, an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Southern Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in the Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators!

For this month’s blog hop and November’s PDF Tutorial we are focusing on the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog Magical Meadow bundle. I created my card using the lovely pomegranate images in the Magical Meadow stamp set and in the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper.

Start with a Pretty Peacock cardstock card base. Cut two Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper panels. Glue the larger Designer Series Paper panel to the card front and then glue the smaller panel down the right side of the card front. Add Wink of Stella to the pomegranates for sparkle.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock deckled circle with the Deckled Circles dies. Stamp the pomegranate image from the Magical Meadow stamp set using a sponge dauber to add Pretty Peacock ink & Moody Mauve ink to the image on the deckled circle. Add Wink of Stella to the pomegranates for sparkle. Die cut a Pretty Peacock cardstock sprig with the Magic Meadow dies. Use glue to add the sprig to the deckled circle overlapping the pomegranate image. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the deckled circle to the card front slightly overlapping the right side panel of Designer Series Paper.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Magical Meadow stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on the sentiment panel. Gently tear the top edge of the sentiment panel above the stamped sentiment. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimentionals to add the sentiment panel overlapping the right side of the deckled circle. Tie a bow with the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon and use glue dots to add it above the sentiment panel overlapping the deckled circle. Add 2023-2025 In Color Dots to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Magical Meadow stamp set in Pretty Peacock and add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Pretty Peacock cs card base = 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″.
Winter Meadow DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″.
Winter Meadow DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Basic White cs deckled circle – (2 1/2″) die cut with the Deckled Circles dies.
Basic White cs sentiment panel – 1″ x 2 3/8″ with the top torn.
Pretty Peacock cs sprig – die cut with the Magic Meadow dies.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
Silver & White Sheer Ribbon
