Beary Cute October 2023 Customer Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie and Bruno Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Each month I make and send Customer cards as a Thank You for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a hello card using the fun Beary Cute stamp set and the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper to send out as a Thank You. I colored the bear and tree images with my water painters and added a bow in the Natural Wavy Trim.

Start with an Old Olive cardstock card base. Cut a Pecan Pie cardstock panel and A Walk in the Forrest Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then to the card base. Die cut a Vellum cardstock deckled circle and a Basic White cardstock deckled circle with the Deckled Circles dies. Use glue to layer the Basic White cardstock deckled circle to the Vellum cardstock deckled circle.

Stamp the tree outline from the Beary Cute stamp set in Old Olive ink on Basic White cardstock twice. Use a clear block as a palette and a water painter to add Old Olive ink to the trees. When dry fussy cut the trees out with paper snips. Stamp the bear from the Beary Cute stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White cardstock. Use a clear block as a palette and a water painter to add Pecan Pie ink to the bear. When dry punch out the bear with Beary Cute Punch. Use the Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend to add color to the bear’s cheek. Use glue to add the fussy cut & colored trees to the left side of the Basic White cardstock deckled circle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the bear to the bottom of the Basic White cardstock deckled circle overlapping the trees. Use glue to add the deckled circles to the card front. Add Wink of Stella to the trees and the bear for sparkle.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment layer and an Old Olive cardstock sentiment layer strip. Die cut an Old Olive cardstock hello sentiment from the Rustic Crate dies. Use glue to add the die cut sentiment to the Basic White cardstock sentiment layer. Use the water painter to add Old Olive ink to the edges of the Basic White cardstock sentiment layer. Use glue to add the Old Olive cardstock strip to the back of the Basic White cardstock sentiment layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the built sentiment panel to the top of the Basic White cardstock deckled circle overlapping the trees. Tie a bow with the Natural Wavy Trim and use glue dots to add the bow below the sentiment panels. Add Naturals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

Cut and add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Old Olive ink and add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the small bear from the Beary Cute stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the small bear like you colored the larger bear on the front of the card, fussy cut the small bear out, and use glue to add him to the inside overlapping the Designer Series Paper strip.

Old Olive cs card base – 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″.
Pecan Pie cs panel – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
A Walk in the Forest DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Vellum cs deckled circle – (31/2″) die cut with the Deckled circles dies.
Basic White cs deckled circle – (3 1/8″) die cut with the Deckled Circles dies.
Basic White cs trees – fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic White cs bear – punched with the Beary Cute Punch.
Basic White cs sentiment layer – 3/4″ x 1 5/8″.
Old Olive cs sentiment – die cut with the Rustic Crate Dies.
Old Olive cs sentiment layer strip – 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ strip.
