For this week’s Global Design Project we are CASEing a lovely card by Kayla Renee from Australia. I used the upcoming Online Exclusives Fluffiest Friends bundle and the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper that will be available starting November 7th, 2023 to create my card. I also played with my water painter to add Early Espresso ink splatter and to color the adorable bear.

FLUFFIEST FRIENDS CLING STAMP SET

MEANDERING MEADOWS 6″ X 6″ DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

Start with a Daffodil Delight cardstock card base. Cut a Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper panel. Die cut a Daffodil Delight cardstock stitched rectangle with the Radiating Stitches dies. Use a clear block as a color palette by stamping the block directly into the Early Espresso ink. Use a Water Painter to add Early Espresso ink splatter to the card base and stitched rectangle. When completely dry glue the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper panel to the card base. Die cut a variety of Old Olive cardstock, Garden Green cardstock, Mossy Meadow cardstock, Early Espresso cardstock, and Vellum cardstock leaves with the Autumn Leaves dies. Use glue dots to build a leaf bouquet in the center & left side of the stitched rectangle. Wrap the stitched rectangle over the leaves with Linen Thread three times using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends on the back of the rectangle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stitched rectangle to the card front.
Stamp the bear from the Fluffiest Friends stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut the bear out with the Fluffiest Friends dies. Color the die cut bear with Stampin’ Blends and a Water Painter with Early Espresso ink. Add the bear (when completely dry) to the card front overlapping the leaves and wrapped thread. Die cut an Early Espresso cardstock sentiment from the Rustic Crate dies.
Cut a Daffodil Delight cardstock banner and flag the end. Glue the die cut sentiment on the flagged banner. Use a Water Painter to add Early Espresso ink to the sentiment banner. Use a glue dot and a Stampin’ Dimensional to add the sentiment banner to the card front overlapping the bear and leaves. Flick Wink of Stella to cover the card front with sparkle. Tie a small double bow with the Linen Thread and add it to the left of the bear overlapping the wrapped Linen Thread. Add Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front among the leaves.
Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel. Use a Water Painter to add Early Espresso ink splatter to the inside panel and the inside of the card and then glue the inside panel into the card. Stamp the sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Early Espresso ink and add a strip of Designer Series Paper down the right side of the inside panel to pull the theme through. Flick Wink of Stella to cover the inside of the card with sparkle.

Daffodil Delight cs stitches rectangle – die cut with the Radiating Stitches dies.
Old Olive cs, Garden Green cs, Vellum cs, Early Espresso cs, Mossy Meadow cs leaves – die cut with the Autumn Leaves dies.
Basic White cs bear – die cut with the Fluffiest Friends dies.
Early Espresso cs hello sentiment – die cut with Rustic Crate dies.
