Global Design Project 214 – Sketch Challenge with the Come To Gather Suite

This week’s Global Design Project‘s sketch challenge is super fun and I decided to use the Come To Gather Suite to create this week’s card.

Start with a Pretty Peacock cs card base. Cut a Come to Gather DSP panel. Wrap the DSP panel with the Cajun Craze linen thread from the Come to Gather ribbon combo pack three times and tie a bow near the top (about 1″ from the top) and then glue the wrapped DSP panel to the card base.

Cut the Pretty Peacock cs image layer panel and Whisper White cs image panel. Stamp the large leaf image from the Gather Together stamp set in Cajun Craze ink at the top of the Whisper White cs panel. Glue the Whisper White cs stamped panel to the Pretty Peacock cs layer panel.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the stamped panels to the left side of the card front overlapping the thread but just below the Cajun Craze Linen thread bow.

Die cut a Cajun Craze cs, Mint Macaron cs, and Pretty Peacock cs leaf with the 3 emboss and die cut dies from the Gathered Leaves dies. Use glue to attach them to the stamped Whisper White cs panel just below the center on the right side.

Cut the Pretty Peacock cs sentiment panel. Dust the panel with the Embossing Buddy. Stamp the sentiment from the Gather Together stamp set in Versamark, apply White Embossing Powder, tap off the excess, and then heat emboss with your heat tool. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the heat embossed Pretty Peacock cs sentiment panel (don’t place a Stampin’ Dimensional where the panel overlaps the die cut leaves) so the ends overhang the stamped Whisper White cs panel about an 1″ from the bottom of panels.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message.

I also stamped the sentiment from the Healing Hugs stamp set and the leaf from the Gather Together stamp set on the inside panel and the sentiment and leaf from the Gather Together stamp on the back of the card in Cajun Craze ink to pull the theme through.
