Every month Paper Pumpkin seems to get better and better! October’s Winter Woods Christmas Card Paper Pumpkin Kit makes 10 lovely cards. Unfortunately this kit sold out and there weren’t any extra kits or refills available to purchase.
October’s Winter Woods Paper Pumpkin card is gorgeous just the way the included instructions show.
I of course did make a few alternatives – I cut out the trees with the Stitched Nested Label dies. Added a Woodland embossed Whisper White cs panel ( 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″). Die cut out some snowflakes with the Seasonal Layer Dies out of Coastal Cabana cs, Pool Party cs, and the left over sparkly paper from the tree punch outs.
I added some snow fall in the background in Night of Navy ink.
On this card I also added the wood grain strip from the kit behind the sentiment.
On this card I used the Stitched Nested Label die cuts with a Woodland embossed Whisper White cs panel (5 1/4″ x 4″) on a Pool Party cs card base (11″ x 4 1/4″). I stamped the bird image from the Winter Woods stamp set in Poppy Parade ink of a scrap sparkly white from the trees punch out and fussy cut it with my Paper Snips. I also added a few of the snowflake sequins that came in the kit.
I also added some Wink of Stella to the snow on the trees to add more sparkle and a few rhinestones.
I used a Coastal Cabana cs card base and a smaller Woodland embossed Whisper White cs panel (5″ x 3 3/4″) on this card. I also added more Coastal Cabana cs snowflakes.
