Hi! Welcome to Christy’s Stamping Spot. I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Arizona, USA. Today, I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.
The 2019 Holiday Catalog is not only filled with awesome products but also filled with beautiful examples and inspiration. I love the colors and the mask background for this Gather Together Bundle card featured in the Holiday Catalog and knew I wanted to CASE it. CASE means to Copy And Selectively Edit.
Start with a Whisper White cs card base. Cut the Whisper White panel. Use Washi tape to secure the Basic Pattern Decorative Mask over the Whisper White cs panel on a piece of scrap paper.
I used a inexpensive cosmetic brush I picked up at a big box store to apply the ink to the Whisper White cs panel but you could easily substitute a sponge dauber to add the color instead of the brush.
I added Calypso Coral ink to the center of the panel. Then I blended in Sahara Sand ink. And finally I blended in the Soft Suede ink to the outer edges of the panel.
Gently pull off the mask and then use glue to add the panel to the Whisper White cs card base.
Use Glue Dots to attach the Nature’s Twine and Linen Thread to the top left corner of the card front.
Stamp the leaf image from the Gather Together stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Calypso Coral cs. Die cut out the leaf with the Gathered Leaves dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the leaf over the twine and thread.
Gently dust a piece of Vellum cs with your Embossing Buddy. Stamp the leaf image in Soft Suede ink and Calypso Coral ink on the Vellum cs. Add the Clear Embossing Powder, tap off the excess, and heat emboss with your Heat Tool. Then die cut out the leaves with the Gathered Leaves dies. Use glue to attach the embossed vellum leaves to the Calypso Coral cs leaf .
Cut the Crumb Cake cs sentiment panel and then stamp the sentiment from the Gather Together stamp set in Soft Suede ink. Use your Paper Snips to cut the end at an angle. Use Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment panel to the card front overlapping the leaves.
Color rhinestones with a Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blend and then add them to the card front.
Don’t forget to stamp your message on the inside of the card. I also stamped the leaf from the Gather Together stamp set on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
I hope you enjoyed my Gather Together Bundle card that I CASEd from the 2019 Holiday Catalog. You can order the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks and Gather Together Bundle in my Online Store now.
