Fancy Flora DSP Happy Birthday Card

Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

We are coming to the end of this current 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and that means we will be saying good-bye to the 2021-2023 In Colors. Soft Succulent will be hard to say good-bye to so I’m using it in a set of three cards made with the gorgeous Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper. I created this second card with the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper, the flowers & sentiment from the retiring 2022-2023 Annual Catalog Art Gallery stamp set with the lovely Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer ribbon.

Start with a Petal Pink cardstock card base. Cut a Soft Succulent cardstock panel and a Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then wrap the panels with Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer ribbon down the left side of the panels using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends on the back of the panels. Then glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched square with the Stylish Shapes dies. Cut a Petal Pink cardstock square layer. Stamp the flowers from the Art Gallery stamp set in Soft Succulent ink on the Basic White cardstock stitched square. Add color to the flowers with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Glue the stamped stitched square to the Petal Pink cardstock square layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the squares to the center left of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment banner and a Petal Pink cardstock sentiment strip layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set in Soft Succulent ink on the Basic White cardstock banner. Use Paper Snips to flag both ends of the stamped sentiment banner. Glue the sentiment banner to the Petal Pink cardstock strip layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment banner to the card front along the bottom of the stitched square. Tie a bow in the Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the card front above the top left corner of the squares overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add Solid Faceted Gems to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the flowers from the Art Gallery stamp set in Soft Succulent ink on the right side of the Basic White cardstock inside panel. Add color to the flowers with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Add a stirp of Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set in Soft Succulent on the bottom left of the inside panel above the Designer Series Paper strip. Glue the inside panel into the card.

I added the Stampin’ Up! copyright stamp from the Limited Edition stamp set to adhere to the Angel Policy.

I also stamped the flower and sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set on the back of the card.
