August 2022 Awash in Beauty DSP Customer Thank You Blog Hop Cards

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

Each month I make and send Customer Thank You Cards for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created Thank You cards using the lovely Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper and the Cup of Tea stamp set with the fun Glitter Washi Tape.

AWASH IN BEAUTY 12″ X 12″ DESIGNER SERIES PAPER
$12.00

159973
GLITTER WASHI FOUR PACK
$9.00

CUP OF TEA PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET (ENGLISH)
$23.00
This alternative was created with a Highland Heather card base, Mint Macaron, the Retired Host Pattern Party DSP, and the Perfectly Penciled DSP.

Start with a Thick Basic White cardstock card base. Cut two Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper (DSP) panels from the same sheet and a Granny Apple Green cardstock (cs) panel. Glue the smaller DSP with the opposite side showing across the bigger DSP panel. Use the green Glitter Washi Tape to edge the top and bottom of the smaller panel wrapping the ends around the sides of panel. Glue the panels to the Granny Apple Green cs panel and then glue the panels to the card base.

Punch a Basic White cardstock (cs) label with the Label Me Fancy punch. Stamp the sentiment from the Cup of Tea stamp set with Memento Black ink on the top of the label (portrait). Add color to the edges of the label with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add label to the right side of the card front overlapping both DSP panels and the Glitter Washi Tape.

Stamp the large single flower from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Polished Pink ink on Basic White cardstock. Use paper snips to fussy cut out the flower and add to the label with a glue dot. Add a Glossy Dot to the flower’s center and Wink of Stella to the visible flowers centers on the DSP for extra sparkle.

I added a Basic White cs inside panel to add more strength to the card and to write my message. I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Tea stamp set and added a DSP strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
