This last weekend I was at a crafting retreat with some crafty friends. Our group makes cards to Swap and I made this lovely card using the retiring Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper that was featured as an alternative Sale-A-Bration choice in February and the Wildlife Wonder stamp set. I also used the Online Exclusive Circle Punches, my retiring Layering Circles dies, and the new 2023-2025 In Color Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends & Textured Ribbon.

Start with a Smoky Slate cardstock card base. Cut a Garden Green cardstock panel and an Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels to the card base.
Die cut a Smoky Slate cardstock scalloped circle with the Layering Circle dies. Punch out a Garden Green cardstock circle with the 2″ Circle Punch. Punch out a Basic White cardstock circle with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. Stamp the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Garden Green ink across the top of the Basic White cardstock circle. Stamp the owl from the Wildlife Wonder stamp set in Basic Gray ink on the Basic White cardstock circle below the sentiment. Color the owl image with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle.
Glue the Basic White cardstock circle to the Garden Green cardstock circle. Add the circles to the Smoky Slate cardstock scalloped circle with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Attach a folded piece of Wild Wheat Textured ribbon with glue dots to the back of the scalloped circle and then add the circles to the card front. Color Iridescent rhinestones with a Wild Wheat Dark Stampin’ Blend and then add them to the card front around the circles.
Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I created closely matching strips by stamping the trees from the Grassy Grove stamp set in Garden Green ink and then blurring the tree images with a Blender pen & Garden Green ink to make the images look more like those on the Designer Series Paper and then added them to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Garden Green ink on the inside panel above the stamped strip.

Smoky Slate cs scalloped circle – (2 1/4″) die cut with the Layering Circles dies.

Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
