Card Measurements and Supply List with the printable PDF with the clickable (Print Recipe) link for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project #GDP498 Sketch Challenge, I created a lovely card with the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Simply Said stamp set. The Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper pack includes sheets with gold accents and sheets of die cuts.

Start with a Pretty In Pink cardstock card base. Cut a Soft Sea Foam cardstock panel, a Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper panel and three Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper panels. Glue the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper panel to the Soft Sea Foam cardstock panel. Glue the three Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper panels to the top of the other panels (slightly separated). Wrap the panels with Pretty In Pink Bordered ribbon overlapping the bottom of three smaller Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper panels using Tear & Tape to secure the ends on the back of the built panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Punch out 4 flowers, 3 leaves, and 2 gold leaves from Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals & glue dots to add 3 of the flowers and all the leaves to create a bouquet on the left side of the wrapped panel overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and a Pretty In Pink cardstock sentiment panel layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set on the Basic White cardstock sentiment panel in Pretty In Pink ink. Glue the stamped sentiment panel to the sentiment panel layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panels to the card front overlapping the bottom right of the built flower bouquet. Tie a bow with the Pretty In Pink Bordered ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the card front on the right side of the built bouquet overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add gold Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper to the inside panel and the back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Pretty In Pink ink and add a Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper punch out flower to the inside panel.
