For this week’s Global Design Project we are CASEing a lovely card by Connie Collins. I created this pretty card in Basic White and Fresh Freesia. I used the new January-April 2023 Mini Catalog Fine Shimmer paper, Framed Florets stamp set, the Two -Tone Flora dies, and the Sentimental Park dies, and with the 2022 Annual Catalog Brilliant Wings dies.
CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit
Start with a Fresh Freesia cardstock card base. Cut a Fine Shimmer Paper panel and a Basic White cardstock panel. Use the large flora die from the Two-Tone Flora dies to die cut Basic White cardstock panel. Glue the Basic White cardstock flora panel to the Fine Shimmer paper panel and then glue the panels to the card base.
Fresh Freesia cardstock flora stitched label, a Basic White cardstock stitched label, and Basic White cardstock flowers with the Sentimental Park dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on the Basic White cardstock stitched label. Insert the Basic White cardstock stitched label into the Fresh Freesia cardstock flora stitched label. Use the Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend to color the back of a piece of White Glittered Organdy ribbon. Use Stampin’ Seal + to add the colored ribbon to the back of the labels and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the labels to the middle of the card front.
Use glue dots to add the die cut Basic White cardstock flowers to the flowers on the flora stitched label. Add Iridescent rhinestones gems to the Basic White cardstock flowers for sparkle. Die cut a Basic White cardstock and a Fresh Freesia Fine Shimmer paper butterflies with the Brilliant Wings dies. Use a bone folder to gently curl both of the butterflies wings. Use glue dots to add the Fine Shimmer paper butterfly body to the top of the Basic White cardstock butterfly and then use more glue dots to add the butterflies to the lower right corner of the labels. Add Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems to the Fine Shimmer paper butterfly body.
Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink, stamped a butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink & colored with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends with Wink of Stella for sparkle, and a strip of Fine Shimmer paper to the front and back of the card to pull the theme through.
I hope you enjoyed my #GDP376 Two -Tone Flora Sentimental Park Card. You can order the Framed Florets stamp set, the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set, Two-Tone Flora dies, the Sentimental Park dies, Brilliant Wings dies, and the Fine Shimmer Paper in my Online Store.
