Storybook Gnomes Winter Wishes Card

I have a fun gnome winter wishes card created with the fabulous Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper for this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge. I added the Snowfall Accents puff paint to the mushroom house roof and the top of the die cut gnome’s hat for extra texture.

Start with a Pacific Point cardstock card base. Cut a Balmy Blue cardstock and a Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then glue the panels to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies. Use the Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Marker to flick color onto the stitched scalloped rectangle. Use Stampin’ Seal to add sliver cord to the back of the stitched scalloped rectangle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stitched scalloped rectangle to the card front.

Die cut a mushroom house and a gnome from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper with the Gnomes dies. Fussy cut out a bunny from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper with paper snips. Add Snowfall Accents Puff paint to the top of the mushroom house & gnome hat and use the Heat Tool to fluff the paint. Use Wink of Stella to the mushroom house, gnome, and bunny for sparkle. Use glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals, and glue dots to add the mushroom house, gnome, and bunny to the card front overlapping the stitched scalloped rectangle.

Cut a sentiment Basic White cardstock banner. Stamp the sentiment from the Yeti to Party stamp set in Pacific Blue ink on the banner. Use paper snips to flag one end of the banner. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the flagged banner to the stitched scalloped rectangle above the mushroom house. Add rhinestones to the card front on the stitched scalloped rectangle for extra sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Snowman Magic stamp set in Pacific Blue ink and add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
