Stampin’ Up!® Stitched Leaves Season of Thanks Card

Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

I have a wonderful Stitched Leaves Season of Thanks card to share for this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge card. I used the upcoming Classic Christmas DSP and the Curvy Dies that will be available starting November 3rd. I also used the Gather Together stamp set, the Stitched Leaves Dies, and the on Sale until Oct. 31st Plaid Tiding DSP to create my card.

Start with a Soft Suede cs card base. Cut the Plaid Tidings DSP panel and the Classic Christmas DSP panel. Use the dotted curvy die from the Curvy Dies to die cut the top edge of the Classic Christmas DSP panel. Use a Stamping Sponge wedge to add Soft Suede ink to the edges of the panels. Glue the sponged Plaid Tidings DSP panel to the top of the card front and then glue the sponged die cut Classic Christmas DSP panel to the card front so it overlaps the Plaid Tidings DSP panel.

Die cut a Very Vanilla cs stitched leaf and a Vellum cs stitched leaf with the Stitched Leaves dies. Use the stamping sponge wedge to add Crumb Cake ink, Bumblebee ink to the Very Vanilla cs stitched leaf. Then add Soft Suede ink with a sponge wedge to the colored Very Vanilla cs stitched leaf’s edges. Add the stitched leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front overlapping both pieces of the DSP panels. Glue the Vellum cs stitched leaf to the sponged Very Vanilla cs stitched leaf.

Die cut a Soft Suede cs sprig with the Curvy Dies. Sponge Soft Suede ink on the sprigs edges and glue it so it overlapping the Vellum cs stitched leaf.

Stamp the sentiment from the Gather Together stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla cs and then die cut out the sentiment with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Sponge the die cut sentiment label edges and gently across the front with Soft Suede ink. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue to add the sponged sentiment label to the card front overlapping the leaves. Tie a small double bow with the Linen Thread and use a glue dot to attach it to the upper left side of the sentiment label. Add Gilded Gems to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Very Vanilla cs inside panel to write your message. Sponge the Very Vanilla cs panel edges with Soft Suede ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Gather Together stamp set in Soft Suede ink on the inside panel and added sponged strips of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
