Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned DSP Thanks Card

For this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge I’ve made a lovely thanks card using the new Stitched Greenery Die, the Hand-Penned DSP, and the sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set.

Start with a Highland Heather cs card base. Cut a So Saffron cs panel and a Basic White cs panel. Dry emboss the So Saffron cs panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and glue the embossed panel to the card base. Run the Basic White cs panel through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery die. Use a sponge dauber to add Highland Heather ink to the edges of the die cut Basic White cs panel. Use glue to add it slightly askew on the embossed So Saffron cs panel.

Cut a Hand – Penned Designer Series Paper panel and then cut it in half creating two panels. Glue them to the card front tilted at an angle – make sure that the pattern is still lined up. Add Shimmer Crystal Effects to one of the flowers that continues on both panels for extra texture and shine. Be sure to let the Shimmer Crystal Effects completely dry.

Cut a Basic White cs sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on Basic White cs panel. Use a sponge dauber to add Highland Heather ink the edges of the panel. Use Stampin’ Seal+ to add a piece of Highland Heather Grosgrain ribbon under the sentiment panel and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel/ribbon to the bottom right of the card front slight overlapping the bottom DSP panel. Add Opal Rounds under the sentiment panel.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink and a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
