Stampin’ Up!® Gilded Autumn Card

I have a quick and lovely Gilded Autumn card for this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge. I love how this simple design shows off the gorgeous Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP.

Start with a Soft Suede cs card base. Cut a Soft Suede cs panel, emboss it with the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder and glue it to the card front.

Cut a Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP panel and then cut it into three smaller strips. Use glue to add them to the card front. Be sure to line up the smaller panels in the order you cut them.

Cut the Thick Very Vanilla cs sentiment panel and the Copper Brushed Metallic cs sentiment panel layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Thick Very Vanilla cs panel.

Glue the stamped sentiment panel to the Copper Brushed Metallic cs panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panels to the center of the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Thick Very Vanilla cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment and add a strip of Specialty DSP to the inside and back of the panel to pull the theme through.

Embossed Soft Suede cs panel – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Glided Autumn Specialty DSP panels – cut a 3 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ panel and then cut it in three 1 1/2″ smaller panels
Brushed Metallic cs (copper) sentiment layer panel – 1 1/2″ x 4″
Thick Very Vanilla cs sentiment panel – 1″ x 3 1/2″
Thick Very Vanilla cs inside panel – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Glided Autumn Specialty DSP strips – two cut at 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
DSP = Designer Series Paper
cs = cardstock
