Sparkling Snowflakes Magical Meadow Bundle Card

For this week’s Global Design Project we are CASEing a lovely card by WIlma de Korte, from the Netherlands. I used the lovely Magical Meadow bundle and the Sparkling Snowflakes to create my card.

CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit

Start with an Azure Afternoon cardstock card base. Cut a Balmy Blue cardstock panel and a Basic White cardstock. Stamp the snowflake from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set in 2nd generation Fresh Freesia ink on the corners of the Basic White cardstock panel. Stamp the snowflake outline in 2nd generation Azure Afternoon ink on the Basic White cardstock panel. Glue the stamped panel to the Balmy Blue cardstock panel slightly askew.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and an Azure Afternoon cardstock sentiment panel layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Magical Meadow stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink on the Basic White cardstock. Using the stamped sentiment panel as a guide tear the top and bottom of the panel and then glue the panels together. I used a small stapler to add two staples in the bottom right corner of the sentiment panels & stamped Basic White cardstock & Balmy Blue cardstock panels. Glue the panels to the card base slightly askew.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock sprig with the Magical Meadow dies. Die cut Vellum cardstock sprigs and leaves with Magical Meadow dies. Use glue dots to add the Basic White cardstock & Vellum cardstock sprigs to the top left of the card front. Tie a double bow with the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon and add it over the top of the sprigs. Add Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins to the card front for sparkle.

Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp both the snowflakes from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set in 2nd generation Fresh Freesia ink & Azure Afternoon ink on the inside panel. Glue the stamped inside panel inside the card and add a snowflake stamped Basic White cardstock strip.

Basic White cs sentiment panel – 1″ x 1 3/4″.

Vellum cs sprigs & leaves – die cut with the Magic Meadow dies.
Basic White cs inside panel – 3 7/8″ x 5″ plus 1/2″ x 4″ strip.
