For this week’s Global Design Project #GDP465 color challenge, I created a fun Halloween card with the Playful Ghosts stamp set. The Online Exclusive Playful Ghosts stamp set is a fun Halloween stamp set that includes cute ghost images, a bat, pumpkins, a cloud, and small themed sentiments. I used the vampire ghost image for my focus and used the bat image to create a background panel. To help the vampire ghost stand out against the coffin shape die cut with Nested Essentials dies, I fussy cut a Vellum cardstock layer to back the ghost. I also added a flower bouquet made from the Country Flowers stamp set and added an embossed layer with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder to create my card.

PLAYFUL GHOSTS CLING STAMP SET (ENGLISH)

- 3. Dry emboss the Wild Wheat cardstock panel with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder.
- 4. Glue the embossed Wild Wheat cardstock panel to the card base.
- 5. Stamp the bat from the Playful Ghosts on the Basic White cardstock panel (multiple times to fill the panel) in Night of Navy ink. Color the stars with the Light Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blend and add Wink Of Stella for sparkle. Flick Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blend ink on the stamped panel.

- 10.Stamp the sentiment from the Playful Ghosts stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Use paper snips to closely fussy cut out the sentiment and then use mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment banner to the card front under the right side of the bouquets overlapping the coffin shape and Basic White cardstock panel.
- 11. Stamp the vampire ghost from the Playful Ghosts stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the vampire ghost with Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut out the colored vampire ghost with paper snips.
- 12. Cut out a Vellum cardstock vampire ghost outline using paper snips. Add the Vellum cardstock outline to the back of the colored vampire ghost with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
