Otter & Rainbow Thanks January 2022 Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

Each month I make & send Customer Thank You Cards for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a card using two of my Sale-A-Bration products favorites the Awesome Otters stamp set and the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper. I also used the new Brilliant Rainbow dies & Amazing Thanks dies and couldn’t resist attaching my otter to my card with a Wobble.

I ordered these fun Action Wobbles on Amazon.

Start with a Crumb Cake cardstock card base. Cut a Crumb Cake cs panel, and two Sunshine & Rainbow DSP panels. Glue the DSP panels to the Crumb Cake cs panel. Cut a Crumb Cake cs strip, dry emboss it with the Splatters 3D embossing folder, and then glue it down the transition overlapping both DSP panels. Die cut a Basic White cs stitched scalloped rectangle with the Stitched So Sweetly dies and glue it to the upper half of the card front.

Die cut a Bermuda Bay cs sentiment and a Pool Party cs with the Amazing Thanks dies, glue them together, and then to the stitched scalloped rectangle. Die cut out the rainbow from the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP with the Brilliant Rainbow dies. Glue the rainbow to the card front overlapping the stitched scalloped rectangle, the DSP panels, and embossed strip.

Stamp the otter from the Awesome Otters stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs. Color the otter with the Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the Otter’s eyes for sparkle. Fussy cut out the otter with paper snips and attach it to the card front with a Wobble. Add Blue Adhesive – Backed Gems to the card front.

Don’t Forget to add an Basic White inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment from the Awesome Otters stamps set in Bermuda Bay ink and added a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my Otter & Rainbow Thanks January 2022 Blog Hop card. You can order the Brilliant Rainbow dies, the Amazing Thanks dies, the Stripes & Splatters 3D embossing folders, and the Stitched So Sweetly dies in my Online Store, and earn the Sale-A-Bration Awesome Otters stamp set for free and the Sale-A-Bration Sunshine & Rainbows DSP for free with qualifying orders.
