Little Ladybug Thinking of You Card

This week’s Global Design Project is a soft spring color challenge. I used the adorable Sale-A-Bration Host Little Ladybug stamp set & Coordination Product Ladybug dies. I also loved using the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder in Petal Pink cs for the background panel and the Stitched So Sweetly dies for the sentiment panels.

Start with a Pool Party cs card base. Cut a Petal Pink cs panel, dry emboss it with a Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder, and then glue it to the card base.

Stamp the ladybugs and the large flower from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs. Color the lady bugs and flower with the Stampin’ Blends. Die cut out the colored ladybugs and flower with the Ladybug dies.

Die cut So Saffron cs flowers and Pool Party cs leaves with the Ladybug dies. Die cut out a So Saffron Perennial Essence Vellum cs sentiment layer with the Stitched So Softly dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs. Die cut the sentiment so that it is to the left side of the panel with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Then stamp one tiny ladybug with Memento Black ink to the bottom left of the panel. Color the ladybug with the Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle.

Glue the Whisper White cs sentiment panel to the So Saffron sentiment panel layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the large flower on the sentiment panels then use glue to attach them so they fit across the card front.

Use the Bone Folder to gently curl the So Saffron cs flowers and use your fingers to slightly pinch the Pool Party cs leaves to give them dimension. Attach the ladybugs, flowers, and leaves to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots. Add Wink of Stella to the So Saffron flowers and then add the Champagne Rhinestones to the flower centers and the sentiment panel. Tie a small bow with the Petal Pink Metallic – Edged ribbon and use glue dots to add it the top of the Whisper White cs sentiment panel.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment & ladybug and added an embossed Petal Pink cs strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I colored the ladybugs with the Stampin’ Blends and added Wink of Stella for sparkle.
