Copper Tea Tin of Fall 3″ x 3″ Mini Cards

I’m playing with these super cute Copper Tea Tins today and filling them with Fall 3″ x 3″ mini cards using the Come to Gather Suite.

I love 3″ x 3″ cards – and they fit perfectly in the Copper Tea Tins. You can watch the Facebook Live replay of the making of this project on Facebook here.

Start with your Come to Gather DSP strip to create your belly band by molding it around the tin and then use a strip of Tear and Tape to secure (don’t adhere to the tin and don’t pull so tight that you can’d slide the belly band) one end of the DSP to itself.

Dust the piece of Vellum cs with the Embossing Buddy, stamp the large leaf image in Soft Suede ink, apply Clear embossing powder, tap off the excess, and then melt the powder with your heat tool. Then die cut out the embossed Vellum cs leaf with the Gathered Leaves dies.

Die cut out leaves from Cajun Craze cs, Mossy Meadow cs, Soft Suede cs, and Early Espresso cs with the die cut & emboss Gathered Leaves dies.

Use glue to attach your leaves to the belly band with the large embossed leaf in the back. Use a glue dot to adhere a small spread piece of Copper Trim within the leaves for texture. Then wrap the belly band with the Come to Gather Crumb Cake ribbon with satin edge and tie a bow over the built leaves on the belly band.

To make the 3″ x 3″ mini cards start with the Whisper White card base. Cut your Soft Suede cs and Come to Gather DSP panel and then glue the DSP panel to the Soft Suede cs panel.

Glue the embossed leaf to the card front (I traced the veins on the leaf with glue to hide any show through). Wrap the panels with Linen Thread twice and then tie a bow on the left side of the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from Free As A Bird stamp set in Soft Suede on Whisper White cs. Use your paper snips to close cut out the sentiment. Use Mini Stampin Dimensionals to add the sentiment to the bottom right corner of the card front below the ribbon.

I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede to the inside and back of the card as well as added a strip of DSP to pull the theme through. I also stamped the large leaf and sentiment on the envelope in Soft Suede ink.

I hope you enjoyed this fun Fall Copper Tea Tin of Fall 3″ x 3″ mini cards. You can order the Gather Together Bundle (saving 10%), Copper Tea Tins, and Come to Gather DSP in my Online Store now and add this project to your Fall crafting.
