Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop June 2019

Hi! Welcome to Christy’s Stamping Spot. I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Arizona, USA. Today, I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.

The new gorgeous Designer Series Papers and Specialty Designer Series Papers make creating lovely cards simple. Today, I’m using the Mood Mosaic Specialty DSP and the carry- over favorite Beautiful Day stamp set. I made this card during my Facebook Live. You can watch my Facebook Live here.

Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper
Price: $14.50

Start with a Very Vanilla cs card base. Cut a Terracotta Tile cs panel and glue it to the card base. Cut a Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP panel. Wrap a piece of Mint Macaron 1/4″ Textile ribbon around the DSP, use Tear & Tape to secure the ends to the back, and then glue it to the card front.

Dust a piece of Vellum cs with the Embossing Buddy and then stamp the butterfly image from the Beautiful Day stamp set in Terracotta Tile ink. Then immediately use the Clear embossing powder and the Heat Gun to emboss the butterfly on the Vellum. Use paper snips to cut out the butterfly.

Cut a Very Vanilla cs sentiment panel, dust with the Embossing Buddy and then stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Day stamp set in Terracotta Tile ink. Then immediately use the Clear embossing powder and the Heat Gun to emboss the sentiment on the Very Vanilla cs panel.

Attach the embossed sentiment to the card front centered over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue the butterfly to the card front- I hid the glue underneath the embossed lines- slightly overlapping the sentiment. Add some Terracotta Tile In Color Faceted Dots to the card front.

I added strips of the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

The new Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP makes creating beautiful cards easy. You can purchase everything to make this card in my Online Store now.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my card. Please visit all the blogs participating in this hop to see all the fun and inspiring projects by demonstrators from around the world.  You are currently visiting Christy Gridley – USA at Christy’s Stamping Spot.
