Beautiful Friendship Floral Congratulations Card

I adore watercolor images and the new Beautiful Friendship stamp set includes gorgeous floral images.

Start with a Pretty Peacock cs card base. Cut a Merry Merlot cs panel, dry emboss it with the Lace 3D embossing folder, and then glue it to the card base.

Cut a Shimmery White cs panel and build the floral image using stamps from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.

• First stamp the large multiple flower image in Petal Pink ink in the middle as your floral fondation.
• Stamp the single rose image in Merry Merlot ink on the Petal Pink flowers.
• 2nd generation stamp (stamp off once) both the leaf images in Pretty Peacock ink around the flower images.
• Stamp the long stem with flowers in Purple Posy ink (due to the bubbly ink on the Purple Posy ink pad – I first inked up the stamp on the pad and then used a sponge dauber to even out the ink) and add it between the leaves to fill out the floral image.

Glue the image Shimmery White cs panel on the Pretty Peacock cs panel and then glue the floral layers panel to the front left side of the card front.

Cut a Shimmery White cs sentiment banner and stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Pretty Peacock. Use Paper Snips to flag the end. Cut a piece of Pretty Peacock 1/2″ Scalloped Linen ribbon and then cut it in half down the middle with Paper Snips. Attach the ribbon halves to the sentiment banner with Tear & Tape , so that Pretty Peacock scallop edge lines both sides of the banner. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment banner in the middle but flush on the left side of the image panel. Add some Pretty Peacock Faceted Dots.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped – the rose in Merry Merlot ink and the leaves in 2nd generation Pretty Peacock ink – images from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set to the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
