Kylie’s Demonstrator Training April 2020 Blog Hop with Woven Threads Ornate Style Thanks Cards

Hi! Welcome to Christy’s Stamping Spot. I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Arizona, USA. Today, I’m excited to be taking part in Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop.

Measurements and Supply List for these cards are found at the bottom of this blog post.

I created two cards pairing my new favorite floral stamp set- the Ornate Style with the Woven Threads DSP. I love how lovely this DSP looks with this floral images especially when I stamp directly on the DSP.

Start with a Seaside Spray CS card base. Cut the Terracotta Tile CS panel and the Woven Threads DSP panel. Glue the DSP to the Terracotta Tile cs panel. Wrap the panel with a piece of Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen ribbon and secure the ends on the back of the panel with Snail. Glue the wrapped panel to the card base.

Stamp the single flower from the Ornate Style stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs. Color the flower with the Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Terracotta Tile ink next to the flower.

Die cut out the flower & sentiment with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Add Wink of Stella to the flower center for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment panel to the card front centered overlapping the ribbon.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment, daisy, and added a strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I love how clean and simple this card turned out with adding an image panel. For my second card I wanted to stamp the image directly on the DSP.

Start with a Seaside Spray cs card base. Cut a Terracotta Tile cs panel and a Woven Threads DSP panel.

Stamp the large Floral image from the Ornate Style stamp set in Memento Black ink on the DSP panel. Color the floral image with the Stampin’ Blends, Terracotta Tile Stampin’ Writer Marker, and use a Blender pen with the Terracotta Tile ink pad.

Glue the stamped & colored DSP panel to the Terracotta Tile cs panel. Wrap the panel with a piece of Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen ribbon using Sail on the back of the panel to secure the ends. Use glue to attach the wrapped panels to the card front. Add Wink of Stella to flower centers for sparkle. Add rhinestones to the sentiment panel and to the flower centers.

Stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs. Die cut out the sentiment with Stitched Rectangles Dies. Use your Paper Snips to cut off both edges of a piece of Terracotta Tile Scalloped edging and use Snail to adhere the edging to the top and bottom of the sentiment panel. Use glue to adhere it to the left side of the card front overlapping the ribbon.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment and added a strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my Ornate Style Woven Threads cards. You can purchase the Ornate Style stamp set and the Woven Threads DSP in my Online Store.
