Lovely Silhouette Scenes Card

For the Glimmer Gals Team sketch challenge I used the fun Silhouette Scenes stamp set with the See A Silhouette DSP and dressed it up with Black Satin ribbon, rhinestones, and lots of Wink of Stella for sparkle.

Start with a Night of Navy cs card base. Cut a Basic Black cs panel, See A Silhouette DSP panel, and a Night of Navy cs panel. Glue the DSP panel to the Basic Black cs panel. Dry emboss the Night of Navy cs panel with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and then glue it centered to the bottom of the DSP panel.

Wrap the panels with Black Satin ribbon overlapping the transition between the embossed Night of Navy cs panel and DSP panel using glue dots to secure the ends on the back of the panels. Then glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Stamp the image from the Silhouette Scenes stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs. Die cut out the image oval with the Layering Ovals Dies. Die cut out a Basic Black cs scalloped oval with the Layering Ovals Dies. Add Wink of Stella to the umbrella, lady’s hair & shoes for extra sparkle.

Glue the image oval on the Basic Black cs scalloped oval. Use Stampin Dimensionals to add the ovals to the card front centered slightly to the top of the card front overlapping the ribbon. Tie a small bow with the Black Satin ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the left side of the ovals overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Stamp the sentiment from the Silhouette Scenes stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs. Use Paper Snips to fussy cut out the sentiment. Glue the sentiment panel to the card front centered under the ovals. Add rhinestones to the sentiment panel and card front. Finally, flick Wink of Stella droplets onto the card front to add more sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I added a strip of DSP and flicked Wink of Stella for sparkle to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
