Just Kiddin’ DSP Magic Card

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge I created a fun card with a mix of current product and some of my favorite new ones from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. I used the upcoming Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper, the Mini Alphabet dies, & the Thoughtful Expressions dies with the Scalloped Contours dies, the Deckled Rectangles dies, & the Stargazing Designer Series Paper, and the Online Exclusive Three Color Glimmer Specialty paper to create my card.

I didn’t want to waste any of the Glimmer paper so I used the Deckled Rectangles dies to create a frame to save the unseen middle for another project.

Start with an Azure Afternoon cardstock card base. Cut a Stargazing Designer Series Paper panel, a Highland Heather (Three Colors) Glimmer Specialty paper panel, and a Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper panel. Die cut a Stargazing Designer Series Paper scalloped edge with the Scalloped Contours dies. Glue the Stargazing Designer Series Panel to the card base. Use Stampin’ Seal to add the Stargazing Designer Series Paper scalloped edge to the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper panel and then glue them to the card front.

Fussy cut out the kids from the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper with paper snips. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the fussy cut kids to the bottom of the card front in each corner. Die cut three Stargazing Designer Series Paper bubble shapes (3 sizes) with the Thoughtful Expressions dies. Glue them down from the top left to middle right above the kid on the card front. Add Foam Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Azure Afternoon cardstock and then die cut out the word with the Mini Alphabet dies in the Azure Afternoon cardstock. Add the word going down on the Stargazing Designer Series Paper bubble shapes.

Stamp the sentiment from the Sweet & Precious stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink on the Basic White cardstock. Use paper snips to cut out the part of the sentiment you want to use. Then tear the bottom edge and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add it to the card front above the letters. Add Wink of Stella to the kids and Designer Series Paper. Then splatter the Wink of Stella over the card front for extra sparkle. Add Iridescent Rhinestones to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Stargazing Designer Series Paper and stamp the sentiment from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I hope you enjoyed my #GDP423 Just Kiddin’ DSP Magic card.
