Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy, an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Southern Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in the Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators!

This month we are focusing on the 2023-2025 In Colors and featuring one of our favorite stamp sets that will be in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog that goes live on May 2nd. I was thrilled that the Sentimental Park stamp set and the coordinating dies were going to carry over into the new Annual Catalog. I used the beautiful Moody Mauve and Boho Blue In Colors, stamped images & dry embossed to create my own Designer Series Paper, and cut the width of the Boho Blue Texture ribbon in half to make a smaller bow for my card.

Start with a Boho Blue cardstock card base. Cut a Very Vanilla cardstock panel and a Moody Mauve cardstock panel. Stamp the open flowers in Moody Mauve ink and the texture stamp in Boho Blue from the Sentimental Park stamp set on the entire Moody Mauve cardstock panel. Dry emboss the stamped Moody Mauve cardstock panel with the subtle lined Basics 3D embossing folders. Glue the embossed & stamped Moody Mauve cardstock panel to the Very Vanilla cardstock panel. Wrap the panels with Boho Blue Textured ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends to the back of the panel. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Die cut a Very Vanilla cardstock small label with the Sentimental Park dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Boho Blue ink on the Very Vanilla cardstock label. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stamped label to the card front slightly on the left side overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Die cut Moody Mauve cardstock mini flowers with the Sentimental Park dies and add Wink of Stella to the flowers’ centers. Glue a flower to each side of the label. Cut a piece of Boho Blue Textured ribbon in half creating two thinner ribbons. Tie a small bow with one of the halved ribbons and use glue dots to add it to the right side of the label overlapping the ribbon. Add 2023-2025 In Color Dots to the card front.

Cut a Very Vanilla cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the flowers in Moody Mauve ink and the sentiment in Boho Blue ink from the Sentimental Park stamp set on the inside panel. Add a stamp ed & embossed Moody Mauve cardstock strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Christy, I love that you made your own DSP for this card. Very creative!
Thanks Julie!!😊
Christy, love the background that you created for the focal die cut and your suggestion of cutting the ribbon to make it narrower.
