161457 Beautiful Balloons Bundle $52
161449 Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper $12.50
This is the wonderful template my friend Theresa from Theresa’s Treasures created for me.

Start with a Berry Burst cardstock card base scored at 4″ and 8″. Add Tear & Tape to the end of the card base on the small flap created with the last score. Cut a Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper panel and glue it centered to the panel next to the edge with the Tear & Tape. Cut another strip Designer Series Paper (1/2″ x 5 1/4″) and glue it to the bottom of other side that will be the back of your card. Add any stamped images or sentiments (including the copyright) to the back panel.

Then use your paper trimmer to cut the slit into the card base – slide the end with the Tear & Tape toward the cutting blade to 6 3/4″ and then cut into both the card base & Designer Series Paper panel by dropping your cutting blade at 3/4″ and cutting to 4 1/2″ (I used a black Sharpie to mark my trimmer to see where to cut easier). Use a 1″ circle punch to punch a tab to pull out the sliding panel from the center of the right side of your card through the card base and Designer Series Paper.

Cut a 3 3/4″ x 5″ Berry Burst cardstock sliding insert panel, a 3 1/4″ x 2″ Basic White cardstock panel, and a 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ Designer Series Paper panel. Use the Very Best Trio punch to add a hole for the ribbon in the Berry Burst cardstock sliding insert panel. Add Metallic Mesh ribbon and gold Simply Elegant Trim to the sliding insert for the pull. Stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Berry Burst ink on the Basic White cardstock panel. Glue the strip to the bottom of the panel and then glue the panel onto the Berry Burst cardstock sliding insert panel close to the punched hole.

Cut a Berry Burst cardstock slider connecter strip (3/4″ x 3″). On one side of the strip put a Stampin’ Dimensional on the end and then turn it over and put Tear & Tape slightly over half of the bottom opposite side end of the strip. Slip the strip into the cut slit in the card front with the Stampin’ Dimensional side on the Designer Series Paper panel side. Make sure the strip is positioned to the very left of the slit.

Die cut a gold Fine Shimmer Specialty paper large balloon, a Berry Burst cardstock tag & small balloon, and a medium Azure Afternoon cardstock balloon with the Beautiful Balloons dies. Cut off the tag part of the tag creating a label with paper snips. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to attach the balloons to the label. Use a glue dot to add three small gold Simple Elegant Trim pieces to the bottom of the Azure Afternoon cardstock balloon.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment strip and stamp the sentiment from the Share A Milkshake stamp set in Berry Burst ink. Cut an Azure Blue cardstock sentiment layer strip. Glue the stamped sentiment strip to the Azure Blue cardstock strip and then use paper snips to flag both ends. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to add the sentiment strips to the Berry Burst cardstock tag overlapping the balloons letting the trim to dangle underneath the sentiment strips. Remove the backing on the Stampin’ Dimensional on the connector strip and add the built tag creating the front slider.

Then gently turn over the card base, remove the protective paper on the Tear & Tape, and place the Berry Burst cardstock sliding panel face down with it’s edge lined up with the right side of the card and then press against the Tear & Tape on the connecter strip to adhere the panel. Then check to make sure your slider works the way you want it. Add a small piece of Tear & Tape (width cut in half) to the very left edge of the card base behind the sliding panel. Remove the protective paper on the Tear & Tape at the back and front edge of the card and press to close making sure that the sliding panel isn’t between the closed ends.

Add gold Pastel Adhesive-backed Sequins to the front of the card where the sequins do not impede the slider. Then add sparkle by flicking Wink of Stella all over the card front, inside slider, and back of the card.
