Halloween Mondays: Trick or Treat Scary Cute Bundle Card

Halloween is on a Monday this year and I’ll be counting down to Halloween with a new Halloween project on Mondays until October 31st.

My 1st Halloween Project is a Trick or Treat card created with the Scary Cute bundle and the Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper. I also shared this fun Scary Cute card as a SWAP with a talent group of Demos and am excited to finally share it as apart of my Halloween Mondays projects.

Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

Start with a Smoky Slate cardstock card base. Cut a Basic Black cardstock panel. Dry emboss the Basic Black cardstock panel with the Into the Clouds embossing folder and glue the embossed panel to the card base. Cut a Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper panel and glue it down the left side of the card front.

Die cut a Basic Gray cardstock branches frame with the Scary Silhouettes dies. Die cut a Smoky Slate cardstock inner frame panel with the Scary Silhouettes dies. Use the Stamparatus to stamp the image from the Scary Cute stamp set in Memento Black ink (multiple times until the black is as dark as you want) on the lower center of the Smoky Slate cardstock inner frame panel. Add Wink of Stella to the wings, crown, and wand of the image for sparkle. Die cut a Crushed Curry cardstock moon and Basic Black cardstock bats with the Scary Silhouettes dies. Glue the die cut moon to the top right of the Smoky Slate cardstock inner frame panel. Glue the Basic Gray cardstock branches frame to the Smoky Slate cardstock inner frame panel. Use Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the built frame to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Scary Cute stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Use paper snips to closely cut the sentiment fragment you want and then flag both ends of the banner. Use Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment banner to the top left corner of the built frame. Use Glue Dots to add the Basic Black cardstock bats to the built frame in the branches. Add rhinestones to the card front for extra sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment and bats from the Scary Cute stamp set in Memento Black ink. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
