Global Design Project Round We Go Theme Challenge #GDP475 Card

Card Measurements and Supply List with the printable PDF with the clickable (Print Recipe) link for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge I created a lovely card using the Round We Go Bundle and the beautiful upcoming Sale-A-Bration 2025 Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper. To create my rosette I used my retired Crystal Effects in the center but you can also use hot glue.

ROUND WE GO BUNDLE (ENGLISH)
$45.00

Start with a Gorgeous Grape cardstock card base. Cut a Fresh Freesia cardstock panel and a Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper. Stamp the stars & dots image from the Round We Go stamp set in 1st and 2nd generation (stamped off) Highland Heather ink on the Designer Series Paper panel. Die cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock, a Fresh Freesia cardstock, and Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper large & small flowers die cut with the Round We Go dies. Glue the die cut flowers to the stamped Designer Series Paper. Trim off any excess flower, then glue the built Designer Series Paper panel to the Fresh Freesia cardstock panel, and then glue the panels to the card base.

Die cut four Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper rosette pieces and one small circle with the Round We Go dies. Fold the rosette pieces and then use tear & tape to connect the ends. I used my retired Crystal Effects and a silicon sheet to create the rosette filling in the center with the Crystal Effects (you can also use hot glue to keep the rosette formed). When the Crystal Effects (or hot glue) is dry glue the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper small circle to the center of the rosette. Wrap the rosette with the Sale-A-Bration Fresh Freesia Seam Bidding ribbon and tie in a bow in the center of the rosette. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the wrapped rosette to the card front.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock decorative circle with the Round We Go dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Round We Go stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on the decorative circle. Stamp the stars & dots image from the Round We Go stamp set in 2nd generation (stamped off) Highland Heather ink on the decorative circle overlapping the sentiment. Trim of the bottom of the decorative circle and add it to the bottom right of the card front. Add Gorgeous Grape dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment pack to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper, stamp the sentiment from the Round We Go stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink, and stamp the stars & dots image in 2nd generation (stamped off) Highland Heather ink to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
