Dear Santa Have An Ice Christmas Card

Card Measurements and Supply List with the printable PDF with the clickable (Print Recipe) link for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

The Dear Santa stamp set from the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog includes adorable images of kids enjoying the holidays with fun puny sentiments that make creating lighthearted seasonal cards easy. I used the scalloped frame from the Wildflower Designs dies to highlight the ice skating little boy image on an embossed with the Painted Textured 3D embossing folder background.

Start with a Pool Party cardstock card base. Cut a Basic White cardstock panel and dry emboss the panel with the Painted Textured 3D embossing folder. Wrap the embossed panel with Pool Party Pompom ribbon using tear & tape to secure the ends on the back of the embossed panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the wrapped embossed panel to the card base.

Die cut a Pool Party cardstock scalloped frame & label and a Basic White stitched label with the Wildflower Designs dies. Stamp the ice skating little boy image from the Dear Santa stamp set in Memento Black ink on the die cut stitched Basic White label. Color the little boy image with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Use glue to add the Pool Party cardstock scalloped frame to the right side of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Glue the stamped stitched label to the Pool Party cardstock label layer and then add the built label into the center of the scalloped frame with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Die cut Pool Party cardstock snowflakes with the Snowy Wonder dies. Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment banner. Stamp the sentiment from the Dear Santa stamp set in Memento Black ink on the banner. Use paper snips to flag both of the sentiment banner’s ends. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment banner to the top left corner, at a slant, to the card front. Add die cut snowflakes to the card front with (small dots) glue.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the One Of The Kind stamp set in Memento Black ink to the inside panel. Add a strip of embossed Basic White cardstock to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I used glue (with small dots) to add a die cut snowflake to the bottom right of the inside panel overlapping the embossed strip.

I hope you enjoyed my Dear Santa Have An Ice Christmas card. You can order the Dear Santa stamp set, the Painted Textured 3D embossing folder, the Wildflower Designs dies, the Snowy Wonder dies, and the One of the Kind stamp set in my Online Store.
