Global Design Project 207 – Theme Challenge with the Gather Together Bundle

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme challenge. I decided to use the new 2019 Holiday Catalog Gather Together Bundle and Come to Gather DSP with lots of fun layers for my #GDP207 card.

Come To Gather Designer Series Paper

Price: $11.50

Start with a Crumb Cake cs card base. Cut the Petal Pink cs, Pretty Peacock cs, and Come to Gather DSP panels and use glue to adhere them to the card front.

Cut the Petal Pink cs image panel layer and the Pretty Peacock cs image panel. Stamp the wheat image from the Gather Together stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink and in 2nd generation (stamped off) Pretty Peacock ink on the left side of the Pretty Peacock cs panel. Glue the stamped Pretty Peacock cs panel to the Petal Pink cs panel layer and then glue them to the card front.

Cut the Petal Pink cs sentiment panel and stamp the sentiment from the Gather Together stamp set in Early Espresso ink. Die cut the Mercury Glass acetate sentiment label with the Ornate Frames dies. Adhere the sentiment on the acetate Ornate Frame label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use glue dots to adhere the sentiment label panels to the top of the stamped Pretty Peacock cs image panel on the card front.

Cut a piece of Mercury Glass acetate and remove the protected plastic. Dust the acetate with the Embossing Buddy. Then stamp both pumpkin images from the Gather Together stamp set in Early Espresso ink. Apply the Clear Emboss Powder to the wet ink – tapping off the excess – and then heat emboss with the Heat Tool. Die cut out the pumpkins with the Gathered Leaves Dies. Cut out Petal Pink cs matching pumpkins to back the embossed Mercury Glass pumpkins with the Gathered Leaves Dies. Use glue dots (hidden behind the solid silver spots of the Mercury Glass) to adhere the Mercury Glass pumpkins to Petal Pink cs pumpkins.

Die cut Vellum cs leaves with the Frosted Bouquet dies. Die cut out Petal Pink Perennial Essence Vellum cs sprigs with the Frosted Bouquet dies.

Use glue dots to adhere the Vellum cs leaves & Petal Pink Vellum cs sprigs to the bottom of the stamped Pretty Peacock cs panel on the card front so they hang over the panel across the card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the pumpkins to overlap the Vellum cs leaves and Petal Pink Vellum cs sprigs centered at the bottom of the stamped Pretty Peacock cs panel.

Don’t forget to add a Petal Pink cs inside panel to write your message.

I stamped the inside panel with the sentiment from the Gathered Together stamp set in Early Espresso ink.
I stamped the sentiment and the pumpkin from the Gathered Together stamp set in Early Espresso ink and stamped the Stampin’ Up! Logo from the Make a Difference stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink.

I also stamped the sentiment and added a strip of DSP to the inside panel and stamped the sentiment, a pumpkin, and added a strip of DSP to the back of the card to pull the theme through.
