Week 6 of 12 Weeks of Halloween – Googly Eye Tree & Haunted House Candy Bag Topper

For Week 6 of my 12 Weeks of Halloween I have a fun candy bag topper that uses the Monster Bash DSP and Googly Eyes! You can watch my Facebook Live replay on Facebook here or on my YouTube channel here.

Start with the piece of Basic Black cs that has been scored in half at 2″ as the topper base. Stamp the bat image from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Memento black ink (be sure the bat is flying in the right direction as the top is the score line) multiple times on both sides.

Use the 2″ circle punch to punch out a haunted house image from the Monster Bash DSP. Use the Starburst punch to punch out a Poppy Parade cs starburst circle. Use glue to attach the Monster Bash DSP circle to the Poppy Parade cs starburst circle. Fold the stamped Basic Black cs topper base in half. Glue the haunted house circle layers on the right side of the topper base slightly overhanging the side of the topper base. Add Wink of Stella to the haunted house’s windows and moon for sparkle.

Fussy cut out a tree from the Monster Bash DSP. Use black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the tree to the topper base overlapping the haunted house circle layers.

Stamp the sentiment from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set on Very Vanilla cs in Memento Black ink. Use Paper Snips to fussy cut out and separate the words. Glue the sentiment pieces to the topper base around the tree. Trace the words with the Wink of Stella to add sparkle. Stamp the sentiment from the Tiny Keepsakes stamp set in Memento Black Ink on Very Vanilla cs. Use Paper Snips to cut out the sentiment and glue to the back of the topper base.

Use glue dots to adhere googly eyes to the tree.

Fill your Cello bag with candy, fold over the top and then just staple the topper in place.
