Global Design Project 185 – Purple’s Pretty

I’m a big fan of Purple. For this week’s Global Design Project I used the new Daisy Lane stamp set I received at OnStage with the Gorgeous Grape & the Highland Heather colors.

The new Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set available June 4th $23

Start with a Highland Heather cs card base. Cut a Gorgeous Grape cs panel, dry emboss it with the Lace embossing folder, and glue to the card base.

Cut out 3 leaves out of Gorgeous Grape cs scrap with the Flourish dies. Glue them in a triangle pattern to the top left corner of the card front.

Stamp 3 Daisy images from the new Daisy Lane (or substitute with the Daisy Delight stamp set) stamp set in Gorgeous Grape on Very Vanilla cs. Punch the daisy images out with the Daisy Punch. Add Wink of Stella to the petals and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to build the flower. Use glue dots to attach the flower to the center of the leave triangle on the card front. Use the Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend to color a Clear Faceted Gem and then add it to the center of the daisy.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stitched All Around stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on Highland Heather cs and cut it out with the Stitched Labels dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment label to overlap the bottom leaf on the card front.

Stamp the duel butterfly image twice in Gorgeous Grape ink on Highland Heather cs and punch out with the Butterfly Duet Punch (you will use 2 large butterflies and 1 small butterfly). Glue the two large butterflies together so that each side has a stamped image. Use a Bone Folder to curl the butterflies’s wings. Add Wink of Stella to the butterflies’s wings and then use glue dots to attach the large butterfly to the right side of the daisy and the small butterfly overlapping the sentiment label and the card front. To finish the card color rhinestones with the Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend and add them to the butterflies and sentiment label.

Don’t forget to add a Very Vanilla cs inside panel so you can write your message. I also stamped the smaller daisy (stamping 3 times without reinking and slightly turning the image) from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Highland Heather ink on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
