For this two week Global Design Project color challenge I created another lovely card using the upcoming Sale-A-Bration Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper. This time I used Stampin’ Blends to add a little color the Designer Series Paper front panel & the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog Paper Butterfly Accent and used a fabulous stitched shape die cut with the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog Thoughtful Expressions dies to create my card.
Start with a Petal Pink cardstock card base. Cut a Daffodil Delight cardstock panel and a Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper panel. Use Stampin’ Blends to color the flower centers and small flowers of the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then wrap the panels slightly down the left side with the Petal Pink ribbon from the Ribbon Due Combo ribbon using Tear & Tape to secure the ends to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.
Die cut a Basic White cardstock large stitched shape with the Thoughtful Expressions dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set in Pool Party ink on the stitched shape. Color a Paper Butterfly Accent with Stampin’ Blends and then add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Fussy cut a few Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper flowers and three small flowers with paper snips. Color the small flowers with the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends and and use the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to add color to the flower centers.
Add the colored butterfly and fussy cut flowers to the stitched shape above the sentiment with glue. Use glue dots to add the colored small flowers to the other fussy cut flowers. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the built stitched shapes to the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add Iridescent Foil Gems to the flower centers and under the sentiment for sparkle. Tie a small bow with the Petal Pink ribbon and use glue dots to add it under the stitched shape overlapping the wrapped ribbon.
Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of colored Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
