Garden Lane Suite Card

This week’s Global Design Project is a lovely wedding theme challenge that gave me a chance to show some love to a suite that hasn’t received much love from me. The lovely but understated Garden Lane Suite seemed to get lost this year in my stash so I’m thrilled to use it for this week’s challenge.

Start with a Garden Green cs card base. Cut a Champagne Foil sheet panel (I used my Stitched Rectangle dies to die cut out the middle of this panel to use on a different project) and dry emboss it with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Cut a Garden Lane DSP panel and glue it to the Champagne Foil sheet. Wrap the panels with a piece of Mint Macaron Textile ribbon and use glue dots to secure the ends to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Die cut out a Champagne Foil sheet stitched label layer with the Stitched So Sweetly dies and dry emboss it with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Stamp the sentiment from the Verdant Garden stamp set in Garden Green ink on Whisper White cs. Die cut out the sentiment with Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Whisper White cs sentiment label to the embossed foil layer label. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment labels to the card front centered overlapping the ribbon. Tie a small bow with the Mint Macaron Textile ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the sentiment label. Add Champagne rhinestones to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also added a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I also stamped a sentiment and image from the Verdant Garden stamp set in Garden Green ink on the back of the card.
