Fresh Freesia Mixed Florals Global Design Project CASE Card

Card Measurements and Supply List with the printable PDF with the clickable (Print Recipe) link for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

Happy 500th challenge to the fabulous creators at Global Design Project!! For this special CASE the designer challenge we’ve been encouraged to CASE a card from one of their current designers. I choose a beautiful card to CASE from Emma Goddard where she colored around the flowers on the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper instead of coloring the flowers. She used a lovely yellow and I choose to use Fresh Freesia.

You can check out the Coastal Crafter Emma Goddard’s card on her Instagram here.

Start with a Fresh Freesia cardstock card base. Cut a Basic Black cardstock panel and a Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper panel. Color the Designer Series Paper panel with the Light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend around the flowers. Glue the panels together and then to the card base. Cut a Fresh Freesia cardstock strip and glue it across the upper part of the card front.

Die cut a Basic Black cardstock dashed edged circle with the Spotlight On Nature dies. Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched circle with the Stylish Shapes dies. Glue the Basic Black cardstock dashed edged circle to the card front overlapping the Fresh Freesia cardstock strip. Add the stitched circle to the card front over the Basic Black cardstock dashed edged circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the daisies from the Mixed Florals stamp set on Basic White cardstock in Memento Black ink. Color the flowers with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Use paper snips to separate the flowers and then use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to build a bouquet on the stitched circle.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and a Basic Black cardstock sentiment panel layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Glue the stamped sentiment panel to the Basic Black cardstock sentiment panel layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panels to the card front overlapping the built flower bouquet. Tie a bow with the White Woven ribbon and use glue dots to add the bow to the card front slightly tucked under the sentiment panels. Add Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to the stitched circle.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a strip of colored Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink above the Designer Series Paper strip.
