Fresh As A Daisy DSP Sending Smiles Hello Card

My 2023-2024 Annual Catalog pre-order has arrived and created my first card with my new goodies for this week’s Global Design Project CASEing the Designer challenge, a beautiful card by Ann Alexander. I fussy cut the lovely daisies from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper and used two of the new colors for this card – the new family core color Bubble Bath and the 2023-2025 In Color Moody Mauve. I also used the Sending Smiles bundle that will be carried over to the new catalog but separately and not at the bundle price for the sentiments.

Start with a Moody Mauve cardstock card base. Cut a Bubble Bath cardstock panel and glue it to the card base.

Fussy cut out daisies from the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper with paper snips. Glue the fussy cut daisies to the top left and bottom right of the card front. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle. Die cut out a Basic Black cardstock word with the Sending dies (I added adhesive sheet to the back of the Basic Black cardstock before die cutting). Add the die cut word to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Sending Smiles stamp set in Moody Mauve ink on Basic White cardstock. Closely fussy cut the sentiment with paper snips. Use glue to add the sentiment to the card front under the die cut word. Add 2023-2025 In Color Dots to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add a fussy cut Designer Series Paper flower and a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Memento Black ink on the bottom right side of the panel above the Designer Series Paper strip.

Bubble Bath cs panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″.
Fresh As A Daisy DSP flowers – fussy cut with paper snips and two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Basic Black cs word (Sending) – die cut with the Sending dies.
Basic White cs sentiment panel – 1/4″ x 2 1/8″ fussy cut closely with paper snips.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
DSP = Designer Series Paper
